LMIC innovator with a peer reviewed household energy mix optimisation model (Dar es Salaam). Seeking a UK lead partner for Energy Catalyst pilot and scale-up.
I am an independent LMIC-based energy innovator and Chemical and Process Engineer based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. My work focuses on household energy systems, energy optimisation, and clean energy access in urban African contexts. I am the originator of a peer reviewed household energy mix optimisation model, developed using Dar es Salaam as a case study, which demonstrates significant reductions in household energy costs through data-driven integration of clean energy sources such as solar PV, grid electricity, gas, and efficient appliances. I am currently seeking collaboration with a UK-registered organisation to act as lead applicant under the Energy Catalyst programme, where I would serve as the LMIC Innovation Partner and Local Technical Lead, supporting pilot deployment, validation, and scale-up in Tanzania and similar markets.
