About

A renewable energy and sustainable development expert with over eight years of hands-on experience in energy access, climate resilience, electric mobility, and clean energy transitions across Africa. I have led and contributed to internationally funded projects focused on mini-grid deployment, solar home systems, fleet electrification, clean cooking, productive use of energy, climate-smart agriculture, and hydrogen portfolios. Passionate about sustainability, economic empowerment, climate resilience, energy justice, and equitable development, I specialise in project management, policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, grant/proposal writing, and translating complex research into actionable policy recommendations and technical reports.

Currently serving as Programme Lead at ClimEdge Hub Limited (Aug 2025–present), I design climate and sustainability programme concepts, lead end-to-end project management for clean energy and resilience initiatives, and conduct needs assessments, climate risk analyses, and stakeholder mapping. I build strategic partnerships with governments, NGOs, donors, and communities; develop and implement Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) frameworks; mentor multidisciplinary teams; and support resource mobilisation and organisational learning.

As Programme Manager at EV World Africa (Jan–Aug 2025), I spearheaded strategic planning and implementation of EV infrastructure, fleet electrification, and integrated renewable energy mobility solutions. I engaged stakeholders—including government agencies, investors, and regulators—to scale e-mobility adoption, advocated for enabling policies, managed budgets and financing (grants, investments), authored high-impact proposals/feasibility studies/impact reports, delivered capacity-building workshops, and produced policy briefs/market analyses to promote zero-emission transport.

In my role as Chief Operations Officer at Celloop Limited (2022–present), I developed operational strategies, optimised supply chains (procurement, logistics, inventory), instituted quality assurance for battery rejuvenation and manufacturing, led high-performing teams, mitigated risks, and aligned operations with long-term business goals in sustainable mobility.

Previously, as Senior Manager, Energy Access at Clean Technology Hub (2022–2025), I led a team of eight on diverse portfolios (mini-grids, solar, e-mobility, clean cooking, hydrogen). I oversaw market intelligence reports, policy briefs, and publications; built relationships with key Nigerian agencies (Rural Electrification Agency, NADDC, Nigeria Energy Transition Office, and state ministries); and contributed to donor projects including IKI energy audits, Heinrich Böll Stiftung state-level renewable adoption, Rockefeller Foundation e-mobility database/R&D research, and Acumen due diligence on solar agro-processing.

At Sosai Renewable Energy Company (2019–2022) as Project/Operations Manager, I managed the USAID COVID-19 Food Security Challenge (solar-powered food processing for women empowerment) and USADF/NICCAs/UKAID projects (solar tunnel dryers, mini-grids, solar home systems, and clean cookstoves in multiple states/communities). Responsibilities included procurement/deployment/installation/monitoring/evaluation, MEL framework design, data collection (KoboToolbox, GPS, surveys), site visits, reporting, and ensuring donor compliance.

I hold an MBA in Finance and Investment (ABU Zaria, 2023) and a B.Agric in Animal Science (2014), plus certifications including PMI Associate in Project Management (2015) and HSE Supervisor, and expertise in ZOHO CRM, Microsoft Project, data analysis, qualitative/quantitative research (surveys, regressions, FGDs, case studies), energy audits, business modelling, and advocacy/capacity building.

As Board Chair of Electric Mobility Promoters Association of Nigeria (EMPAN) (2025), Mentor at Student Energy and Africa Youth for Sustainable Energy and Mobility (AYSEM), and Advisor to Energy Sustainability Program, plus fellowships (UN SDSN Climate Actors, Oxford Climate Society, Global Entrepreneur and Leader's Academy, Youth for Sustainable Energy, etc.), I actively drive innovative solutions in net-zero transitions and equitable development.

I am well-positioned to assess Innovate UK applications in clean growth, net-zero, sustainable transport, and energy innovation, evaluating technical feasibility, commercial viability, market potential, risks, scalability, societal/environmental impact, value for money, and alignment with strategic priorities, drawing on practical delivery experience across donor, private, and policy contexts.
