Renewable Energy–Based Coffee Roasting Prototypes to Support Productive Recovery and Livelihoods in Conflict-Affected Rural Communities in Colombia

We are partners in the Energy Catalyst call for proposals, round 11. We are working on a proposal to improve the roasting process for specialty coffee using renewable fuels and more controlled methods in rural areas that have been hit hard by violence, with many farmers displaced or with family members killed. We firmly believe that dignifying the work of Colombian coffee farmers will provide them and future generations with a better future and a better life.
