Partnership for Energy catalyst round 11

I am Carlos Castillo, a specialist in bioprocess development and an active researcher in the Department of Bioproducts at AGROSAVIA (Bogotá, Colombia). We are seeking UK partners to jointly apply to the Energy Catalyst Round 11.

AGROSAVIA operates a network of research centers across Colombia, enabling us to work in diverse geoclimatic regions and directly engage with rural communities. Our current focus is developing clean, sustainable alternatives to traditional biomass-based cooking fuels—particularly through biogas technologies suited for rural contexts.

We bring strong capabilities in bioprocess and bioproduct development for the agricultural sector, along with extensive experience navigating regulatory pathways, intellectual property processes, and technology validation with national authorities such as ICA, INVIMA, and the National Health Institute of Colombia. We are ready to contribute scientifically, technically, and administratively to a high-impact collaborative project.
