Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Wrocław Tech) is one of Poland’s leading technical universities and a major research and innovation centre in Central Europe. The University conducts interdisciplinary research aimed at advancing science, developing new technologies and addressing real-world societal and economic challenges.

Our research expertise covers, among other areas, artificial intelligence and data science, information and communication technologies, electronics, photonics, automation and robotics, advanced materials, chemistry, energy, environmental engineering, civil and mechanical engineering, biomedical technologies and sustainable development. Wrocław Tech combines fundamental research with applied research, prototyping, experimental validation and technology transfer.

The University has extensive experience in international research cooperation and in implementing projects jointly with universities, research institutes, companies, healthcare organisations and public-sector partners. Its researchers have access to specialised laboratories, advanced computing infrastructure and a broad interdisciplinary academic community.

Within the POLNORIS Call, Wrocław Tech is interested in establishing long-term partnerships with organisations from Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. We are open to jointly developing ambitious research and innovation projects addressing the European green transition, social inclusion and resilience, as well as other interdisciplinary challenges with significant scientific, technological and societal impact.

We can contribute scientific expertise, research infrastructure, data analysis and artificial intelligence methods, experimental validation, prototype development, dissemination and support for translating research results into practical applications.
