About

Established in 1995 as the first facility of its kind in Poland, Poznan Science and Technology Park (PPNT) is a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. Operating within the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation, its primary mission is to stimulate the regional economy by facilitating the practical application of scientific research in the business sector.

The PPNT offers a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Research & Development: Advanced laboratory services in fields such as chemistry, biotechnology, and IT, providing specialized analyses and technical expertise. Currently we are mainly focued on modification or functionalization of polymer, textile, or construction materials, using ionic liquids, organosilicon derivatives and many other organic compounds. We also lead complex agrochemical experiments on plants and develop new biostimulators for industrial usage.

  • Business incubation: Support for early-stage technology companies and startups through consultancy, mentoring, and access to modern infrastructure.

  • Technology transfer: Assisting scientists and entrepreneurs in the commercialization of new technologies and participating in international research projects.

  • Infrastructure: High-quality office spaces, equipped laboratories, and conference facilities designed for a collaborative and innovation-friendly environment.

In addition to its business focus, PPNT is deeply committed to science popularization through its "Imagination Laboratory" (Laboratorium Wyobraźni), the first science center in the region, which aims to inspire younger generations through interactive exhibitions and workshops.
