1. Objective and scope of the research – defining the scope of energy consumption in television and multimedia production and identifying the processes, equipment and stages of production with the highest energy demand.

2. Methodology – collecting and analysing data on energy consumption, production processes, equipment, workflows and related operational costs.

3. Identification of energy-intensive processes – identifying production, post-production, storage, transmission and distribution processes that generate the highest energy consumption.

4. Analysis of energy consumption and costs – assessing energy use and its financial and environmental impact across different areas of media production.

5. Identification of optimisation opportunities – developing practical solutions to reduce energy consumption, operational costs and unnecessary use of technological resources.

6. Testing energy-saving solutions – implementing and evaluating selected solutions in real media production and distribution processes.

7. Use of AI and automation – analysing how AI, automation and intelligent workflow management can reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency.

8. Measurement of results – defining indicators and measuring reductions in energy consumption, costs and resource use resulting from implemented solutions.
