I have divided my scientific interests into three thematic areas, related to the issues that are the subject of my interdisciplinary scientific activity:

1.                Issues related to the construction of dedicated security information systems and informing the population, with particular emphasis on automatic atmospheric monitoring networks and the development of a proprietary methodology for them, based on stochastic modeling, evaluation of the quality of measurement data, pollution forecasting and stochastic interpolation.

2.                Problems of implementation of numerical mathematical methods in security information systems, including the design of systems for the needs of both monitoring networks and decision-makers.

3.                The issue of air pollution, human exposure to atmospheric air pollutants and the issues of health risks and the effects of breathing polluted air on human health, as well as the aspect of visibility as an indicator of air quality - identification of parameters that have the greatest impact on visibility

All research areas are closely complementary to each other. The results obtained in one of them are often inspirations and are the basis for others – they permeate each other.
