The ECSO CISO Meetup 2026 - Berlin

Registration open until 2 Oct 2026

By CISOs, for CISOs

Two days of peer-to-peer exchanges with 200 like-minded cybersecurity practitioners.

Real breach case studies shared by the CISOs who handled them. Crisis simulations that pressure-test your playbooks. Peer-tested approaches to the regulatory, technical and strategic challenges that keep you up at night.

The ECSO CISO Meetup is fully independent and community-led, guided by CISO chairs who shape the programme around what their peers actually need. Five years in, it has become Europe’s leading forum for cybersecurity executives to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. The Meetup is an initiative of the ECSO CISO Community (+700 European Members) powered by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO).

CONFIDENTIALITY GUARANTEE
To enable the kind of open, high-trust discussions that make this event unique, rigorous privacy and confidentiality measures are in place. All sessions follow the Chatham House Rule: no quoting, no attribution, controlled access. You can speak freely. Read ECSO's GDPR policy for the event here.

Agenda coming soon

The agenda is co-shaped with CISOs and will be updated progressively. You are welcome to submit speaking suggestions during registration, the best sessions come from the community itself!

Topics from previous editions that sparked the most valuable discussions include:

  • Reverse pitching: CISOs tell vendors what they need

  • When CISOs meet Boards: speaking the same language?

  • Case studies: ransomware, supply chain attacks, manufacturing incidents

  • Leveraging international standards for NIS2, CER, and EECC compliance

  • Securing the Software Supply Chain

  • The CISO’s guide to AI: opportunities and risks

  • Tackling Quantum Threats

  • Integration of Physical and Cyber Security

  • Cyber resilience maturity models

  • How to effectively exchange cyber threat intelligence

CISO Alliance Deutschland

All relevant innovation topics have a digital DNA, which is why those responsible for information and IT security face rapidly growing and increasingly dynamic requirements. At the same time, there has so far been a lack of an organised national CISO community in Germany to serve as a representative body and facilitate targeted knowledge and experience sharing. The CISO Alliance addresses this need by providing an open community platform for IT security experts. Read more on the website
