The ECSO CISO Meetup 2026 - Berlin

Registration open until 2 Oct 2026

By CISOs, for CISOs

The ECSO CISO Meetup 2026 is the 5th edition of an exclusive event that traditionally gathers over 200 CISOs from various European countries and sectors.

Two days of practitioner-to-practitioner exchange with Europe’s CISO community, 700+ members strong, coming together in person in Berlin. Real breach case studies shared by the CISOs who handled them. Crisis simulations that pressure-test your playbooks. Peer-tested approaches to the regulatory, technical and strategic challenges that keep you up at night.

The Meetup is fully independent and community-led, guided by CISO chairs who shape the programme around what their peers actually need. Five years in, it has become Europe’s leading forum for cybersecurity executives to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other.

CONFIDENTIALITY GUARANTEE

To enable the kind of open, high-trust discussions that make this event unique, rigorous privacy and confidentiality measures are in place. All sessions follow the Chatham House Rule: no quoting, no attribution, controlled access. You can speak freely.

We invite you to read ECSO's GDPR policy for the event HERE.

In collaboration with Women4Cyber

The CISO Meetup is proud to collaborate with the Women4Cyber Foundation (W4C), which promotes female talent in cybersecurity through education, mentorship, and collaboration with industry and institutions. Their mission is to close the gender gap and build a more inclusive, resilient digital future. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to strengthening and diversifying Europe’s cybersecurity leadership.

The ECSO CISO Community

The CISO Meetup is the annual gathering of ECSO’s CISO Community, which provides daily collaboration opportunities for CISOs across European countries and sectors. With partnerships with national CISO communities and associations, our community now encompasses almost 700 members. Representatives from national and regional CISO groups will be present, fostering the sharing of best practices with the goal of connecting all CISO organisations across Europe.

About the Organisers of the Event

The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)

The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2016. ECSO unites over 300 European cybersecurity stakeholders, including large companies, SMEs and startups, research centres, universities, end-users, operators, associations, national and regional administrations. ECSO works with its Members and Partners to develop a competitive European cybersecurity ecosystem that provides trusted cybersecurity solutions and advances Europe’s cybersecurity posture and technological independence. ECSO also leads the European project ECCO, intended to support activities needed to develop, promote, coordinate and organise the European-level Cybersecurity Competence Community.

The ECSO CISO Community

ECSO’s CISO Community is a place for information security leaders to exchange information, good practices, threat intelligence and to develop common positions of practitioners in cybersecurity. CISOs already cooperate on a national, regional and sectoral level but often struggle to find peers from the other European countries. ECSO’s role is of a neutral intermediary that will help in conveying unified voice of practitioners towards other stakeholders in cybersecurity.

Launched in April 2022, ECSO’s CISO Community currently hosts 700+ CISOs from 29 European countries. Daily discussions are being held on topics that are of general interest to CISOs coming from variety of backgrounds and different countries.
