Participants

Developing digital tools and community-driven models to strengthen short food supply chains and sustainable competitiveness in Europe’s rural economies.

My organisation

The mission of the World Gastronomy Network is to promote the national cuisines of countries worldwide as sustainable, cultural, and health-oriented values, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), loyalty program, and social media integration. Through the WOGI app, WGN aims to connect global gastronomic communities, foster cultural diversity, and encourage healthy eating habits while driving innovation in the culinary sector. The WOGI Farm-to-Table program furthers this mission by connecting local producers directly with consumers and restaurants, reducing the ecological footprint, promoting organic foods, and fostering sustainable gastronomy through community events and digital platforms.

About me

I am an IT engineer, project developer and innovation practitioner working at the intersection of digital technologies, sustainable food systems and rural development.

My work focuses on building scalable innovation ecosystems that connect communities, producers, researchers and public authorities in order to strengthen sustainable local economies and short food supply chains.

I hold a degree in IT Engineering from Gábor Dénes University, and my professional background combines digital platform development, systems thinking and innovation management applied to real-world sustainability challenges.

I am the founder of the World Gastronomy Network Inc. (USA), a nonprofit organisation promoting sustainable gastronomy, local food systems and national culinary heritage through digital innovation and international cooperation.

One of the key digital solutions we are developing is the WOGI platform, which integrates:

• AI-supported recommendation systems

• producer–consumer connectivity

• community-based engagement tools

to strengthen local food ecosystems and support sustainable consumer behaviour.

At the European level, I am actively involved in the development of research and innovation projects under Horizon Europe and other EU programmes, focusing on:

• short food supply chains

• rural innovation ecosystems

• digital platforms for sustainable local economies

• community-driven innovation models

My current work includes the development of the RURALFOOD NEXUS project, which aims to enhance sustainable competitiveness in rural areas through innovative digital tools and multi-actor collaboration.

I enjoy building international partnerships and working with research institutions, municipalities, civil society organisations and SMEs to create practical solutions for sustainable regional development.

My motivation is to support the transition towards more resilient, inclusive and sustainable local economies across Europe.
