CYCLEFOOD NEXUS
About
The CYCLEFOOD NEXUS project aims to advance sustainable urban-rural food systems and mobility through innovative integration of gastronomy, cycling tourism, and digital technologies. Starting November 1, 2026, it focuses on reducing the tourism sector’s ecological footprint by 30%, supporting over 500 local producers, and engaging 10,000+ participants across 38 cities, aligning with the EU Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan. The project leverages a transnational consortium to develop circular tourism models and data-driven solutions over 36 months.
