The production process is located in the north of Spain exploiting the full potential of the Mediterranean diet and by-products obtained from ecological agricultural practices. ISANATUR was awarded and coordinating a 4 years R&D project ending with a first of a kind industrial plant for upcycling olive, grape byproduts.
Or in house facilities are located in Puente la Reina and includes:
CO2 SFE equipment (pressure, temperature and cosolvent control)
Evaporator/Concentrator equipment (1500 L, with vacuum pressure and stirring speed control);
Fermenters (5000-500-20 L) with pH, temperature and stirring speed control;
Vacuum drier (Temperature, intake speed, vacuum pressure control);
Spray dryer (temperature, intake speed control. Up to 100L/hour can be processed) including pretreatment and downstream processing.
