Founder of ISANATUR, a biotech SME, designs and manufactures innovative bioactive food, feed and nutrautical ingredients from olive, evaluating and extracting valuable compounds from agricultural byproducts using cutting-edge technologies such as CO2 extraction, Fermentation, high tech drying, fractioning and downstream.
The production process is located in the north of Spain (Navarra) exploiting the full potential of the Mediterranean products and by-products obtained from ecological agricultural practices.
Inhouse facilities are located in Puente la Reina, as for example:
CO2 SFE equipment (pressure, temperature and cosolvent control)
Evaporator/Concentrator equipment (1500 L with vacuum pressure and stirring speed control);
Fermenters (5000-500-20 L) with pH, temperature and stirring speed control;
Sprydrier-Vacuum drier-decanters, centrifuga, Nutcha filters (Temperature, intake speed, vacuum pressure controls).
Spray dryer (temperature, intake speed control. Up to 100L/hour can be processed) including pretreatment and downstream processing.
