Sensors are becoming smarter. More and more, the value lies in understanding sensor data directly on the device rather than only collecting it. This needs AI inference that runs close to the sensor, in real time and with very little power. semify's EdgeWave platform is built for exactly this, and we're looking for partners to shape it together.

What we bring

• EdgeWave: our edge AI platform, currently in development, which brings AI inference directly to the sensor

• Full AI flow: from model training in TensorFlow through optimization and quantization to a dedicated hardware accelerator

• ASIC or FPGA: integration as an IP block inside your ASIC, or implementation on FPGA for prototypes and smaller volumes

• Design and verification expertise: many years of experience taking ASIC and FPGA products to production

• RISC-V know-how: custom instructions for efficient AI workloads

What we're looking for

• Sensor and MEMS manufacturers who want to add AI capabilities to their products

• Industrial companies with use cases such as condition monitoring, predictive maintenance or anomaly detection

• Companies with sensor applications in acoustics, vibration, environmental or gas sensing, motion or wearables

• Research partners interested in joint funded projects on edge AI for sensors
