About
Urban researcher and planner with a PhD in Urban Regeneration and Sustainability from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. My work focuses on urban regeneration, urban transformation, neighbourhood economies, public space and sustainable urban development. I combine urban planning expertise with GIS, spatial analysis and Space Syntax to investigate how changes in the built environment influence urban vitality, accessibility, resilience and quality of life.
My doctoral research examined the transformation and complementarity of high streets and shopping centres, with a particular interest in local economic dynamics and the role of urban environments in everyday life. I also have professional experience in urban planning, regeneration and public-space projects, including work with public-sector stakeholders.
For DUT Call 2026, I am particularly interested in projects related to adaptive reuse, neighbourhood economies, the 15-minute city, urban regeneration, public space, spatial transformation and sustainable neighbourhoods. I am interested in joining European research consortia as a research partner and contributing expertise in urban planning, spatial analysis, GIS and urban transformation
