Creative & Community Partner for Urban Transition Projects

I am looking to join an existing or emerging transnational consortium that wants to integrate a strong cultural, creative and community-based dimension into an urban transition project.

My contribution would be to co-design and implement a place-based methodology or pilot together with local communities in the Canary Islands, Spain, an EU outermost region. Rather than applying a predefined participation model, I work from the specific needs, knowledge and characteristics of each territory, developing creative processes together with residents.

Depending on the project, this contribution could involve community-based cultural practice, participatory methodologies, public-space interventions, community mapping, collective storytelling, local knowledge, climate adaptation, neighbourhood resilience, care, or other forms of socially engaged creative practice.

I am particularly interested in collaborating with municipalities, universities, research organisations, urban planners, designers, technical partners and other organisations that want to explore how cultural practice and community participation can contribute to more resilient, inclusive and liveable neighbourhoods.

I am open to developing a new methodology specifically for the consortium, or adapting experience from previous community-based projects to the objectives and local context of the proposal.
