Claudia Alessio detto Grassi

I help cities and their partners design and implement strategies that turn circular economy ambitions into action. At Circle Economy, I lead research, analysis, and facilitation to co-create strategies, tools, and action plans that accelerate sustainable transitions.

Over the past five years, I have worked with cities across Europe, North and South America. My role combines technical expertise in material-flow analysis, waste management, and urban planning with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. I have designed and facilitated more than 100 workshops—virtual, hybrid, and in-person—and led the development of several flagship reports that guide cities in their circular journeys.

What we bring to every collaboration is both rigour and pragmatism: the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies, to connect energy, climate, and economic development agendas through the lens of circularity, and to ensure projects are locally grounded while scalable.
