CitéSource is an engineering and research company specialized in innovative assessment methods for circular economy strategies. CitéSource estimates construction materials flows and stocks from a neighborhood to a city or regional scale to support circular economy strategies in construction and urban projects (consulting projects for Rennes Métropole, Grand Paris Aménagement, etc.). It also analyses the metabolism of cities like Paris which need data on material flows and stocks to build context specific circular economy plans. CitéSource produces geolocalised data which are shared on online databases in order to encourage stakeholder participation and provide support for decision making.
Both managers of CitéSource, Vincent Augiseau and Eunhye Kim, are PhD in urban planning, worked in renowned research centers and took part to many research projects including the JPI Urban Europe EN-UTC CREATE (Embedding advanced urban material stock methods within governance processes to enable circular economy and cities resilience), as well as other projects financed by the French National Research Agency (ANR): ASPECT 2050 (methodology for the development of local climate and energy plans), IMPETUS (innovative methodology and practical evaluation tools for urban sustainability), CONFLUENT (urban energy and material flows and environmental footprint).
At CitéSource, we are pioneers in the field of urban metabolism and circular economy research and engineering, specialising in resource diagnostics, circular economy strategies and digital solutions for territorial circular economy projects and materials reuse and recycling products for construction sites.
