Autonomous, Accessible micromobility
About
We're looking for a partner to trial our Accessible, autonomous-ready, new mobility form-factor. If you're developing autonomous sensing/telemetry or induction-charging, our vehicle is the ideal demonstrator.
Shared micromobility has problems! The existing vehicles can't balance or steer themselves, so they have to be collected and driven to new location in a van.
Existing vehicles can't charge themselves (or align in a tidy arrangement), they fall over because they're top-heavy and only have a small side-stand.
E-scooters are terrible at emergency braking, our vehicle stops much quicker, no likelihood of skidding.
E-scooters can't handle poor surfaces, the rider has to keep watching for gravel, pot-holes and bumps, which easily cause them to crash, our vehicle can handle all that!
Bikes and e-scooters are dangerous around pedestrians, they need to maintain 'above walking pace' speed to remain stable, our vehicle can balance and turn 360 while stationary.
Bikes and e-scooters lose 80-80% of ridership in cold weather, our vehicle doesn't give you 'icicle fingers'.
Bikes and e-scooters aren't very Accessible or inclusive, anyone can ride our vehicle, no matter what their physical ability or whatever clothing they prefer to wear.
