About
GTE is an engineering and consultancy company with extensive expertise in sustainability, resource efficiency, climate services, and circular economy at corporate, industrial, and city levels. Since 2008, GTE has been supporting public and private actors in designing and implementing sustainability strategies and low-carbon solutions. The company has successfully delivered over 200 projects for more than 100 clients, including the World Bank Group, EBRD, European Commission, municipalities, ministries, universities, and NGOs.

In the context of this EU call, GTE aims to collaborate with partners to develop sustainable tourism models that balance economic growth with environmental and social well-being. We offer technical and methodological expertise in circular tourism approaches, including local waste reduction systems, responsible consumption models, integration of local food chains into tourism services, and climate-smart urban design. Through our active collaborations with many Turkish cities and municipalities, we can also facilitate direct engagement of urban stakeholders and pilot sites across different regions.
We are open to partnerships with municipalities, research institutions, tourism agencies, SMEs, NGOs, and digital innovation actors interested in:

Developing and testing circular and inclusive tourism models;

Designing data-driven local policy frameworks for sustainable tourism;

Promoting equitable benefit sharing and local entrepreneurship;

Implementing low-carbon, climate-resilient urban tourism practices.
