Looking for a project on healthcare access issues #15mC
About
Valenciennes Métropole has prioritised health in its policy to explore solutions that meet the population's expectations and needs, aiming to combat social and regional health inequalities.
The project seeks to facilitate healthcare accessibility for all citizens, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations who often face multiple barriers. The aim is to identify and test innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions that can reduce inequalities in access to care, improve well-being, and strengthen urban resilience.
In parallel, the project will also address the everyday challenges of healthcare professionals, improving their ability to connect with patients and deliver quality care.
Potential angles of interest:
-
Digital health tools to improve accessibility of services.
-
Urban planning for health equity (mobility, proximity services, healthy living environments).
-
Community-based approaches to reduce barriers for vulnerable groups.
-
Cross-sector collaboration between healthcare providers, municipalities, SMEs, and research organizations.
