Digitalisation in manufacturing | Vienna – Linz – Brno – Bratislava

We're excited to bring together manufacturing companies and providers of digital technologies and services from Austria, Czechia and Slovakia for inspiring keynote talks and networking opportunities.

The recently established European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) are one-stop shops supporting companies and public sector organisations to respond to digital challenges and become more competitive. EDIHs assist companies in improving their business and production processes and products or services by using digital technologies.

The “test before invest” approach of these EDIHs allows manufacturing companies testing and experimentation with digital technologies to validate their adaptation and customisation according to their needs prior to investments. As such, it supports the companies in making informed decisions by evaluating the return on investment. EDIHs “test before invest” services provide information, access to digital transformation expertise and experimentation facilities.

The focus of the networking event is to share the expertise in digital transformation in manufacturing industry, provide practical examples and initiate projects and cooperations.

EIT Manufacturing will also present their service portfolio, which connects diverse networks and areas of expertise that are essential to industrial innovation. 

In addition, there will be an opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the TU Vienna Pilot Factory and gain insight into state-of-the-art production aspects, including design, product development and assembly.

The event takes place at the Technology Centre in Seestadt/Vienna.
