Seeking consortium partners: citizen-side component for personal data access, portability and standards-conformant exchange

What we bring. Vivodepot is a working application, not a concept. It is a single HTML file that runs offline in any browser and stores a person's records in one encrypted file they keep themselves. No server, no cloud, no account, no app store. Encryption is AES-256-GCM, client-side; keys never leave the device. The core is open source under EUPL-1.2, which keeps intellectual property handling in a consortium simple.

Standards are the interface. We define no formats of our own. Where an open standard exists, we implement it: FHIR R4 and the International Patient Summary for medical records, aligned with the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format; W3C Verifiable Credentials for attestations issued from held data. Conformant documents are recognised and parsed on import and exported unchanged, so institutional systems receive what they already process.

Scope. Eleven areas of life, sector-agnostic: identity, relationships, health, legal provisions and advance directives, finances, education and work, housing and property, mobility and travel, social insurance, public administration, and personal matters.

The role we are looking for. A clearly scoped work package as consortium partner, covering the citizen-facing end of a deployment: how a person actually obtains, keeps, understands and passes on their own data — including people without smartphones, without accounts, and relatives acting on someone's behalf. We are equally interested in participating as a third party under cascading funding.

Where we are. Berlin-based micro-enterprise, founded 2026. Application in pre-release testing. Registered in the Digital Public Goods Alliance (under review), published Zenodo record, submitted for the xShare Industry Label for EEHRxF readiness. Founder with twenty years in telecommunications, network research and software.
