SENSEcity is an immersive design studio that brings stories to life through place-based AR experiences and tactile storytelling tools. We work with museums, heritage sites, and cultural organisations to reimagine how audiences engage with the past, blending physical interaction with augmented reality to create unforgettable, layered experiences. Our flagship product, Historiscope, transforms traditional viewing scopes into magical AR time machines. Visitors can look through and see history unfold before their eyes — where buildings once stood, where people once gathered, and where stories are waiting to be heard. SENSEcity has collaborated with leading organisations including Historic Environment Scotland, Belfast City Council, City Sightseeing Glasgow, Brighton Dome, and Creative Informatics. From castle walls to city buses, our work invites people to explore culture not as something static, but as something they can step into, shape, and share.
