Industry Contact Point Low -emission Techologies and Clean Energy

The Industry Contact Point Low-emission Technologies and Clean Energy helps Polish entrepreneurs, scientists and institutions to successfully apply for grants in Horizon Europe framework programme financing projects developing new solutions for improving energy efficiency in buildings and transport, optimisation of energy storage and use, and new technologies for renewable energy.

The Industry Contact Point Low-emission Technologies and Clean Energy is located within the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Warsaw Insitiut of Technology.

ICP Low-emission Technologies and Clean Energy supports entities and scientists in the following areas:

  • renewable energy

  • sustainable construction

  • energy management systems

  • hydrogen technologies

  • batteries and energy storage

  • low-emission mobility

The National Contact Point

The National Contact Point (NCP) at the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) supports the participation of Polish researchers, research units, enterprises of various sizes, central and regional governments, non-governmental organizations in the current EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation – Horizon Europe.

Our mission is to offer comprehensive services that assist Polish applicants in the effective participation in the Horizon Europe framework. We inform about the EU calls, organize information days, seminars, conferences, prepare statistical analysis, publish articles and booklets on Horizon Europe. For more advanced beneficiaries, the NCP offers in-depth consulting services.

The NCP organisation is a large team of 50 experts operating in 5 units. The majority of experts employed in the NCP Department are officially appointed by the European Commission and act as National Contact Points NCP experts are also active members of Horizon Europe programme committees – bodies whose task is to monitor the functioning of individual elements of the Programme and shape them in an optimal way.

The National Center for Research and Development-office in Brussels

 The NCBR office in Brussels represents the interests of the Polish science and innovation community. It presents Polish point of view in consultations and other processes concerning negotiations on the research and innovation policy of the European Union. Representatives of the Office participate in meetings of expert bodies and other events organised by the European Commission and its agencies, as well as partner institutions operating in the field of research and innovation in Brussels.

The key aim of the office in Brussels is to actively support the increase of the participation of Polish scientific institutions and innovative companies in the Horizon Europe programme.
