The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), on behalf of the European Commission and in collaboration with the Region of Attica, Attica Region Innovation Center and the Regional Development Fund of Attica, is proud to organise the “Clusters Meet Regions” event in Athens, Greece.

About the Conference

The conference aims to generate insights and foster exchanges that may contribute to the further development of cluster policies at regional, national and European level. It will explore how clusters can support innovation uptake, commercialisation and scale-up, strengthen SME competitiveness and internationalisation, and contribute to industrial transformation through ecosystem collaboration and interregional cooperation.

Against the backdrop of Attica’s innovation ecosystem and its capabilities in areas such as digital technologies, health, research and knowledge-intensive services, the event will help connect regional actors, support smart specialisation priorities and facilitate integration into European value chains.

What to Expect

Building on the successful tradition of previous events across Europe, the Attica edition will bring together clusters, policymakers, innovation actors and businesses for policy dialogue, peer learning and cooperation building. Through discussions and interactive exchanges, participants will explore practical approaches to strengthening ecosystem coordination, supporting innovation-driven growth and developing interregional partnerships that contribute to regional competitiveness and broader European innovation objectives.
