About
The Management in Innovative Health Chair at EDHEC Business School is a multidisciplinary research and teaching chair dedicated to healthcare innovation and the transformation of healthcare systems.
Our research focuses on how health innovations can move from scientific and technological development to real-world adoption and impact. We work at the intersection of management, social sciences and healthcare, with expertise in digital health and AI, adoption and trust, implementation and organisational change, trustworthy AI and governance, Value-Based Healthcare, health economics, and the wider adoption of innovation.
The Chair is actively involved in the European research ecosystem and Horizon Europe projects. We contribute to multidisciplinary consortia bringing together academic institutions, hospitals, research centres, technology partners and other healthcare stakeholders. Our current activities cover areas including generative AI and Virtual Human Twins for precision medicine, oncology and palliative care, patient-centred cancer care, microbiome and multi-omics approaches for cancer prediction, and the development of future Virtual Human Twin applications.
Across these projects, our role is to help bridge the gap between innovation and its implementation in healthcare by addressing the human, organisational, economic and societal dimensions that influence adoption and long-term impact. We are actively developing our European network and are open to new collaborations for future research projects and Horizon Europe consortia.
