Digital renal health partner for HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-DISEASE-10 consortium
Product Owner at Renal Care and Research
Waterloo, Belgium
About
Renal Care & Research is looking to join a consortium as a project partner for the Horizon Europe topic HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-DISEASE-10 – “Prevention and management of chronic non-communicable diseases in children and young people (GACD)”.
We propose to contribute AIDEWA®, a digital health/SaMD platform developed for renal monitoring and prevention. Our expertise includes nephrology and urolithiasis, patient-facing digital tools, healthcare professional platforms, clinical data analytics, AI modules, usability and implementation assessment, as well as experience with MDR Class IIa, QA/RA, cybersecurity and GDPR requirements.
Our proposed project contribution is the implementation and evaluation of a digital renal health pathway for adolescents and young adults at risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD) or recurrent urinary stone disease, particularly in underserved settings. The pathway could support monitoring of hydration, urinary pH, symptoms and lifestyle behaviours, while facilitating patient engagement and clinician-facing follow-up.
Potential contribution to the consortium:
-
Adapt digital screening and follow-up workflows to the target population and study setting.
-
Support implementation and usability assessment.
-
Define patient engagement, adherence and implementation indicators.
-
Structure patient-reported and longitudinal health data.
-
Contribute to clinical evidence generation and digital health evaluation.
We are particularly interested in collaborating with partners providing expertise in: pediatric nephrology/urology, implementation science, public health and health economics, SSH and co-design, biostatistics, FAIR data governance, and clinical/research sites in LMICs or underserved populations in high-income countries.
Renal Care & Research is seeking to participate as a partner rather than coordinator and is open to co-leading a clearly defined digital health / renal implementation work package where appropriate.
