Non-Communicable Diseases - Expertise seeking European partners

I represent a portfolio of research teams from the Marseille research ecosystem, including Aix-Marseille University, CNRS, Inserm and AP-HM, and am looking to identify European partners to join existing consortia, develop new project concepts or establish complementary collaborations for the 2027 Horizon Europe Health calls.

The research expertise represented covers cardiovascular and cardiometabolic diseases, chronic respiratory and kidney diseases, environmental exposures and the exposome, inflammation, vascular biology, thrombosis, nutrition, biomarkers, multi-omics, advanced cellular models and regenerative medicine, with a strong focus on translational research and the identification of new diagnostic and therapeutic targets.

Strong expertise is available in cardiovascular, cardiometabolic, chronic respiratory and chronic kidney diseases, covering disease mechanisms, risk factors, prevention, diagnosis and therapeutic approaches.

• cardiac and vascular dysfunction;

• endothelial biology and vascular remodelling;

• thrombosis and haemostasis;

• inflammation and immune mechanisms;

• cardiometabolic disorders and metabolic risk factors;

• nutrition-related risk factors;

• chronic respiratory diseases;

• chronic kidney disease and cardio-renal interactions;

• identification and validation of novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets;

• translational research linking experimental models, patient data and clinical applications.

We are particularly interested in collaborations involving clinical centres, hospitals, patient cohorts, intervention studies, therapeutic development and translational research.
