About
The Provincial Mental Health Hospital named after Dr. Józef Bednarz in Świecie, Poland, is seeking cooperation within HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-CARE-02 – Personalised approaches to reduce risks from adverse drug reactions due to administration of multiple medications.
Polypharmacy is highly relevant in psychiatric care, particularly among older patients and individuals with multiple chronic conditions. Our hospital is interested in solutions that improve medication safety, treatment personalisation and early identification of patients at increased risk of adverse drug reactions.
Potential research areas include AI-supported medication review, prediction of adverse drug reactions, personalised pharmacotherapy, drug-drug interaction risk assessment, clinical decision-support tools and integration of clinical, behavioural and potentially pharmacogenomic information.
The hospital can contribute access to psychiatric and older patient populations, clinical expertise, medication and treatment data, real-world validation and assessment of patient-reported outcomes, treatment adherence and quality of life.
We are looking for partners with expertise in clinical pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, pharmacoepidemiology, AI, health data science, medication safety and clinical decision-support systems.
Our institution can act as a clinical validation site and contribute to implementation and evaluation of personalised medication-management strategies in routine healthcare.
