Clinical partner for innovative interventions in mental health and chronic diseases

Coordinator of the Department of Research, Development and Innovation at Provincial Mental Health Hospital in Świecie, Poland

Świecie, Poland

About

The Provincial Mental Health Hospital named after Dr. Józef Bednarz in Świecie, Poland, is interested in joining or helping build a consortium for HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-DISEASE-01-two-stage – Innovative healthcare interventions for non-communicable diseases.

We see particular potential for innovative interventions addressing chronic mental health conditions and their impact on functioning, quality of life, relapse risk and long-term healthcare utilisation.

The hospital is developing and evaluating innovative therapeutic concepts combining psychiatric care with digital health, immersive technologies and supportive interventions. These include approaches involving virtual reality, digital monitoring, personalised interventions, therapeutic environments and multimodal non-pharmacological support.

We can contribute access to psychiatric patient populations, clinical expertise, recruitment and follow-up, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, patient-reported outcomes, quality-of-life evaluation and implementation of interventions in real-world hospital and outpatient settings.

We are seeking universities, hospitals, research organisations, technology developers, SMEs and patient organisations interested in co-developing and clinically validating innovative healthcare interventions.

This topic could also provide an opportunity to further develop previously prepared concepts such as GrowMind by incorporating previous evaluation feedback, strengthening the methodology and expanding the intervention into a multicentre European study.
