About

WHO WE ARE

The Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Children's Hospital (HSJD) is one of Europe's leading paediatric innovation ecosystems, driving the development, validation and adoption of innovative solutions across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, molecular diagnostics, digital health and advanced healthcare technologies.

Through i4KIDS, our paediatric innovation hub, we foster the creation of high-impact solutions tailored to children's healthcare needs, supporting innovators, researchers, clinicians, startups and industry partners throughout the entire innovation lifecycle, from ideation and proof-of-concept to market deployment. Complementary initiatives such as i4KIDS-Europe, Add4KIDS and i4KIDS-4RARE strengthen our capacity to accelerate innovation and generate societal impact.
