Research Partner in Hydrogel Biomaterials, Biofabrication and Drug Delivery

Senior Researcher at Central European Institute of Technology- Brno University of Technology

Brno, Czech Republic

About

I am interested in joining multidisciplinary Horizon Europe Cluster Health consortia and contributing expertise in the following areas:

  • Advanced biomaterials and regenerative medicine: Design and development of biocompatible, injectable, and functional hydrogels for tissue regeneration, including cartilage and osteochondral repair.

  • Drug delivery and localised therapies: Development of polymer-based, nano- and microstructured delivery systems, including microencapsulation, MOF-based formulations, and hydrogel-based therapeutic platforms.

  • 3D bioprinting and biofabrication: Development and optimisation of printable hydrogel formulations, with a focus on rheological properties, printability, shape fidelity, mechanical performance, and cell compatibility.

  • Dynamic and hybrid hydrogels: Engineering of functional polymer networks with tunable gelation, mechanical properties, shear-thinning behaviour, and self-healing capabilities.

  • Translational biomaterials research: Formulation optimisation and development of biomaterial platforms for tissue repair, cell delivery, and minimally invasive therapeutic applications.

Potential contribution to a consortium:
I can contribute to research and innovation work packages involving biomaterial design, formulation development, physicochemical characterisation, hydrogel optimisation, therapeutic delivery, and biofabrication. I am particularly interested in collaborative projects addressing regenerative medicine, innovative medical technologies, advanced therapies, and the translation of biomaterials into clinically relevant healthcare solutions.

Collaboration sought:
Participation as a research and technology development partner in multidisciplinary Horizon Europe Cluster Health proposals, particularly those combining materials science, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, and clinical research.
