Collaboration on Drug Delivery to the Inner Ear
Research Fellow at Eisdell Moore Centre, The University of Auckland
Auckland, New Zealand
About
We are a team of researchers based in the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Our ongoing reseach is to develop a new methodology to deliver therapies to the inner ear using a large animal preclinical model (sheep), Our approach is via intratympanic route, targetting enhanced drug delivery through the round window membrane. We are seeking collaborators who may have therapeutic molecules in development, that we could test if our methodology can enhance it's bioavailablity in the inner ear and hence enhance its therapeutic efficacy.
