Biofabrication & bioactive composite biomaterials for bone regeneration – research partner for TOOL-02 bio-printing consortia
Ramón y Cajal researcher at Instituto de Cerámica y Vidrio (ICV-CSIC)
Madrid, Spain
About
The research group of Colloidal Processing at Institute of Ceramics and Glass (ICV-CSIC, Spain’s National Research Council) is looking to join a consortium for HORIZON-HLTH-2027-03-TOOL-02 “Advancing bio-printing of living cells for regenerative medicine”.
What we offer
-
Biofabrication under physiologically relevant conditions: a dedicated lab combining 3D printing with cell culture under dynamic conditions, including controlled mechanical, electrical and magnetic stimulation. It is suited to evaluating bio-printed constructs and cell–material interactions in simulated physiological environments, and to studying the role of real-time stimuli.
-
Bioactive, bioresorbable and electroactive composite biomaterials: design of functional composites with controlled biodegradation for bone regeneration, and of printable materials and bioinks for advanced manufacturing.
-
Translation track record: patented technologies and ImplantaOss®, a 3D-printable regenerative biomaterial developed through the CSIC spin-off COLFEED4Print, which can join as an SME partner.
-
Materials science background: ICV-CSIC’s expertise in advanced ceramics, glass, additive manufacturing and characterisation.
