Microbial Biologics Expertise for Recombinant Protein Development, Purification and Scale-up

Paras Biopharmaceuticals Finland Oy offers specialised technical expertise in microbial recombinant protein development for Horizon Europe Health projects. We seek opportunities to contribute as a technical partner in research consortia and to support funded projects through subcontracted protein development and process optimisation.

Our strengths include E. coli and yeast expression systems, particularly for non-glycosylated and difficult-to-express proteins. Our expertise covers nanobodies, diabodies, domain antibodies, scFv fusion proteins, Fc-fusions, interleukins and long peptides.

We can contribute to defined technical work packages or subcontracted tasks involving expression and fermentation development, protein folding and refolding, solubility and aggregation control, downstream processing, purification, analytical characterisation, troubleshooting and fermentation scale-up at 20 L, 150 L and 750 L.

We are interested in projects developing therapeutic proteins, antibody-based biologics and other relevant recombinant protein products where microbial production offers a suitable approach. We welcome contact from Horizon Europe coordinators preparing proposals, research organisations and biotechnology companies seeking a technical partner or external support for specific protein development, purification or scale-up activities.
