About
Corsano Health, a Dutch digital health SME, is seeking collaboration under HORIZON-HLTH-2027-03-TOOL-04: Virtual Human Twins (VHTs) for integrated clinical decision support in prevention and diagnosis.
The development of patient-specific Virtual Human Twins requires integration of multimodal information describing individual health and disease states over time. Continuous wearable monitoring can provide an important longitudinal physiological and behavioural data layer, complementing hospital-based measurements, imaging, laboratory results and computational models.
Corsano's CardioWatch platform enables medical-grade continuous patient monitoring in clinical and real-world settings, including heart rate, ECG, SpO₂, respiratory parameters, temperature, activity and sleep. The platform also supports access to raw PPG, ECG and accelerometer data for research applications.
Potential contributions to a consortium include:
-
Provision of longitudinal physiological and behavioural data for patient-specific model development.
-
Integration of wearable-derived parameters into multimodal and multiscale modelling frameworks.
-
Personalised physiological baseline modelling and dynamic assessment of patient health status.
-
Data processing, quality assessment and interoperability with VHT and clinical information systems.
-
Real-world monitoring to support evaluation and updating of patient-specific models.
-
Prospective clinical validation of model predictions against observed physiological changes.
-
Deployment of remote monitoring solutions across hospital, home and ambulatory care settings.
-
Contribution to clinical feasibility studies and evaluation of VHT-supported decision-making.
Corsano is particularly interested in cardiovascular, cardiometabolic and multimorbidity-related applications where continuous physiological data may strengthen prevention, diagnosis and patient-specific risk assessment.
We are seeking collaboration with universities, computational modelling groups, AI specialists, clinical research organisations and hospitals developing advanced multi-organ and multiscale Virtual Human Twins.
Corsano could contribute as a technology and clinical research partner, potentially leading activities related to continuous wearable data, longitudinal physiological modelling inputs, interoperability and prospective clinical validation.
Our contribution would focus on connecting computational patient models with real-world physiological measurements and clinical deployment.
