About
Topic: HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01-two-stage – Development of predictive biomarkers of disease progression and treatment response by using AI methodologies for chronic non-communicable diseases (stage 1 deadline 17 Feb 2027)
This topic calls for multimodal biomarkers (molecular, physiological, behavioural and digital) combined with established AI methods and real-world data. Micronutrient status is a measurable and correctable layer that standard biomarker models often leave out.
Min Vitamix brings a 13-biomarker micronutrient and metabolic panel (vitamin D, B12, folate, magnesium, zinc, iron, ferritin, calcium, potassium, sodium, glucose, free T3, free T4), longitudinal customer data from blood tests and questionnaires, and a predictive micronutrient-deficiency model in development with Mimer AI Factory and TEF-Health. Because we can intervene by reformulating supplements every 30 days, the consortium can test whether biomarker-guided correction changes disease trajectory, turning predictive markers into actionable ones.
What we offer:
• Micronutrient and metabolic biomarker panel and real-world data
• ML deficiency-prediction model and data-science input
• A personalised intervention to validate predictive biomarkers in practice
• GDPR-compliant data handling
• An SME exploitation route for the resulting tools
What we are looking for:
A coordinator or partner with AI and biomarker expertise; hospitals with longitudinal cohorts in diabetes, CKD or cardiometabolic disease; biobanks and registries; and clinical validation sites.
Our role: Partner (SME)
