About
Horizon Europe Health – Research Partnership Opportunity
Organisation: Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Faculty of Medicine, Türkiye
Department: Medical Biochemistry
Type of Cooperation: Seeking consortium partnerships as a research and clinical validation partner.
About Our Research Team
We are a medical biochemistry research team at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Türkiye, interested in joining multidisciplinary European consortia under Horizon Europe Cluster 1 (Health).
Our research focuses on molecular and clinical biomarkers, cancer biology, diabetes, chronic inflammatory diseases, immunometabolism, oxidative stress, and translational medicine.
We aim to contribute to European collaborative projects by integrating experimental molecular research with patient-based clinical investigations.
Expertise and Capabilities We Offer
-
Clinical biomarker research: Investigation and validation of candidate biomarkers in patient populations and clinical samples.
-
qPCR: Quantitative gene expression analysis to investigate disease-associated molecular pathways.
-
ELISA: Quantitative assessment of inflammatory, metabolic, and disease-related protein biomarkers.
-
Cell culture: In vitro experimental models for investigating disease mechanisms, cellular responses, and potential therapeutic interventions.
-
Clinical research: Opportunities for collaboration with clinical departments in patient recruitment, clinical sample collection, and patient-based studies.
-
Translational research: Integration of experimental molecular findings with clinical and biochemical parameters.
Horizon Europe 2027 Topics of Interest
-
HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01: Development of predictive biomarkers of disease progression and treatment response using AI methodologies.
-
HORIZON-HLTH-2027-03-TOOL-04: Virtual Human Twins for integrated clinical decision support.
-
HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-DISEASE-01: Innovative healthcare interventions for non-communicable diseases.
-
HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-CARE-02: Personalised approaches to reduce risks from adverse drug reactions.
Potential Contributions to Consortium Work Packages
Our team is particularly interested in contributing to work packages involving:
-
Clinical cohort recruitment and biological sample collection.
-
Molecular and biochemical biomarker measurement and validation.
-
Cell-based experimental investigations of disease-associated pathways.
-
Evaluation of candidate biomarkers in clinical populations.
-
Generation of molecular and clinical datasets for integration into predictive models.
-
Translational assessment of biomarkers for precision medicine and clinical decision support.
Partners We Are Seeking
We welcome collaboration with European universities, research institutes, hospitals, biotechnology companies, and interdisciplinary teams developing Horizon Europe Health proposals.
We are particularly interested in joining consortia with expertise in artificial intelligence, computational modelling, bioinformatics, clinical research, and personalised medicine.
Collaboration Objective
Our goal is to establish long-term international research partnerships and contribute to competitive Horizon Europe proposals through molecular, experimental, and clinical biomarker research.
We are open to discussing consortium participation, joint proposal development, and specific work package responsibilities aligned with our research expertise.
