DEC Communication Partner for HE consortium
Founding Director & DEC Leader | KOM Agency at KOM Agency
Marseille, France
About
KOM is an independent communications partner specialized in healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences research. Integrated as an active Work Package Leader and consortium partner in European collaborative programs, KOM co-designs and executes strategic Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation (CDE) frameworks, Open Science practices, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
Our core expertise covers the complete DEC lifecycle: strategic branding, project websites, multi-channel dissemination, scientific outreach, Key Exploitable Results (KERs) promotion, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) awareness. We also deliver tailored training in science communication and public engagement for early-stage researchers (ESRs).
KOM has established a strong European track record across major health and life sciences initiatives:
• MSCA Doctoral Networks: ANA-KIN (GA 101312304), menTOR (GA 101168624), Cis-CODE (GA 101312602), PIPgen (GA 955534), and ENHPATHY (GA 860002).
• Collaborative Research Platforms: LabCom DECIPHER and LabCom NVDIAG.
For recent MSCA proposals where KOM co-designed the Impact section and DEC work plan, evaluations achieved the maximum score (5/5) for the Impact criterion.
Working as a full project partner rather than an external vendor, KOM engages early with coordinators during proposal drafting on a shared-risk basis (co-drafting Section 2 / Impact with no upfront fee). We collaborate with academic and clinical leaders in oncology, immunology, neurology, rare diseases, and biotechnology across Horizon Europe Cluster 1 Health and related calls.
