ECITD | Horizon Europe Health 2027 – Consortium Partner for Stakeholder Engagement, Policy & Innovation Uptake

The Egyptian Center for Innovation and Technology Development (ECITD) is an independent Egyptian centre supporting research and innovation, technology transfer, institutional development and international R&I cooperation.

ECITD serves as the secretariat of the Euro-Mediterranean Innovation Ecosystem Board and works to connect research institutions, industry, policymakers and innovation stakeholders across Egypt and the wider Euro-Mediterranean region.

Our Horizon Europe Experience

ECITD has established experience in EU-funded collaborative projects, including:

• EU-Africa PerMed (GA 964333): Co-leader of WP2 alongside INNOVATEC, contributing to scientific and policy landscape analysis, stakeholder mapping and Europe-Africa cooperation in personalised medicine.

• FUTURE4PRIMA (GA 101131632): Horizon Europe beneficiary supporting the development of the future Euro-Mediterranean PRIMA partnership.

• PHEMAC: Consortium partner in Euro-Mediterranean innovation mapping, knowledge capitalisation and stakeholder engagement.

• INNOVATILE: Egyptian project partner contributing to industrial stakeholder mobilisation and the uptake of sustainable technologies.

What ECITD Can Contribute

We are interested in joining Horizon Europe Health 2027 consortia as a beneficiary and implementation partner, particularly through:

• Stakeholder identification, mapping and engagement across healthcare, research, industry and public institutions.

• Health policy analysis, institutional coordination and science-to-policy interfaces.

• Stakeholder co-design and identification of implementation and adoption barriers.

• Innovation uptake, knowledge transfer, exploitation and dissemination.

• Engagement of relevant Egyptian and Euro-Mediterranean institutions to support project implementation and replication.

• Capacity building, cross-regional knowledge exchange and sustainability planning.
