About

Multimodal Neuroimaging Laboratory, Institute of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade (Serbia)

We combine expert anatomical knowledge with artificial intelligence to identify structural and functional brain signatures of health and disease, and to turn them into clinically usable tools. We are the link between computational models and biological reality: we make sure AI models and digital twins rest on true anatomy and clinical evidence.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Expert anatomical segmentation and morphological validation of AI model outputs on brain imaging

- Expert-labelled anatomical reference data for training and evaluating AI models

- Validation that digital twin components (brain and cardiovascular) reflect true anatomy and clinical reality

- AI-powered analysis of multimodal neuroimaging and development of early imaging biomarkers for depression, anxiety, cognitive decline and ageing, including links with cardiovascular health

- Integration of imaging findings with exposome data (lifestyle, stress, socio-environmental factors)

- Living lab co-creation of human-centred health tools with patients and clinicians

TOPICS WE WANT TO JOIN (HORIZON EUROPE 2027)

- HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01-two-stage: AI-based predictive biomarkers in chronic NCDs. We contribute imaging biomarker development and anatomical validation.

- HORIZON-HLTH-2027-03-TOOL-04: Virtual Human Twins for clinical decision support. We provide anatomical grounding and validation of brain and cardiovascular twin components.

- HORIZON-HLTH-2027-03-TOOL-08: Frontier AI models for healthcare. We contribute multimodal neuroimaging expertise and expert-labelled data for training and evaluation.

- HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-DISEASE-01-two-stage: Innovative interventions for NCDs. We contribute imaging-based stratification and outcome markers, plus living lab co-creation.

- HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-DISEASE-10: NCDs in children and young people. We contribute neuroimaging markers of mental health risk in young people.

WHO BENEFITS

Coordinators and technology partners building AI biomarkers, Virtual Human Twins or frontier healthcare AI models who need a partner to ground their models in real anatomy and validate them with medical experts.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experienced coordinators and partners with clinical cohorts, data infrastructure, regulatory or industry expertise, and dissemination capacity.

OUR ROLE

Partner contributing validation tasks and imaging expertise. We are open to leading a task or work package under an experienced coordinator.
