Specialized in the development and improvement of projects, programs and social policies, with the overall objective to improve the quality of life of people through the creation, evaluation, dissemination and implementation of rigorous and quality knowledge of social reality. 

Spora has three main areas of focus: health, gender and equality and no discrimination. Over the years, Spora has collaborated with several Spanish public administrations in the design and evaluation of policies to prevent and denounce discrimination in the fields of racism, LGTBI+phobia and mental health.

Some of its most relevant projects in these fields include:

• Drafting of Strategic Plans for healthcare.

• Drafting of Mental Health Plans for several Catalan municipalities. 

• Performance of Health Profiles on several Catalan municipalities.

• Drafting of Drugs and Addictions Plans.

• Evaluation of Prevention Plans on Drugs and Addictions.

• Drafting of Gender Equality Plans in several Catalan municipalities.

• Development of several studies on gender equality, including a qualitative analysis of factors that affect the trajectory of women in science.

• Evaluation of the law of effective equality of women and men of Catalonia.

• Drafting of Intercultural Action Plans for several Districts of the Barcelona Municipality.

• Drafting LGTBI+ Local Action Plans for several Catalan municipalities, such as Sitges and Granollers.

• Designing of the Office for Non-Discrimination of several Catalan municipalities, such as L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Viladecans.

• Elaboration of a map of services for victims of hate crimes in the city of Barcelona.

• Evaluation of the program "Barcellona City of Rights” of the Barcelona Municipality.
