About

We represent a multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team operating within an integrated university hospital setting, combining clinical care, research and innovation in physical and rehabilitation medicine.

Our activities align strongly with Destination 3 and 4 objectives, as we develop and clinically validate innovative solutions aimed at improving access, quality and sustainability of healthcare services, especially for people with chronic and disabling conditions.

Key expertise includes:

tele-rehabilitation and tele-monitoring services integrated into healthcare systems
personalised rehabilitation pathways supported by digital tools
wearable sensors and remote functional assessment
AI-supported stratification and outcome monitoring
co-creation of digital platforms with engineers and healthcare professionals
evaluation of cost-effectiveness, usability and acceptability of innovative care models

We can contribute to projects focusing on:

integrated and person-centred healthcare delivery
digital transformation of rehabilitation services
continuity of care between hospital and home
reduction of healthcare burden through effective rehabilitation strategies
