DIRECTOR at KENTRO AMEA AGIOS LAZAROS/SAINT LAZARUS CENTRE FOR PEOPLE INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

LARNAKA, Cyprus

About

The Saint Lazarus Centre for Adults with Disabilities (Kentro Amea Agios Lazaros) is an accredited non-profit organisation based in Larnaca, Cyprus, with long-standing experience in providing community-based health and care services for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Our organisation operates as a real-life living lab, combining:

  • a Day Care Centre,

  • a Vocational Rehabilitation Programme, and

  • a 24/7 Supported Living House,

allowing continuous observation, co-creation and evaluation of health and care interventions in everyday conditions.

We are seeking participation in Horizon Europe – Cluster Health 2026 consortia as a pilot / end-user partner, offering high-value contributions where projects require:

  • real-world implementation beyond laboratory or clinical settings,

  • inclusion of vulnerable and underrepresented adult populations,

  • evaluation of human-centred digital health and AI-supported care solutions.

What we offer to a consortium

  • Living lab environments for piloting digital health, care technologies and rehabilitation pathways,

  • Co-creation with care professionals, service users and families,

  • Qualitative and real-world evaluation (acceptability, usability, ethics, accessibility, impact on daily care),

  • Expertise in inclusive design, adapted communication and consent procedures,

  • Strong link between health, social care and community-based support.

Topics of interest

We are particularly interested in projects addressing:

  • digital health and human-centred AI in care settings,

  • rehabilitation and long-term support pathways,

  • community-based and person-centred care models,

  • accessibility, inclusion and ethical deployment of health technologies.

Our aim is to contribute practical, evidence-generating input that strengthens the real-world relevance, societal impact and scalability of Horizon Europe health projects.
