Behavioural drivers of and behavioural interventions for health behaviour

Professor and Head of Department at Maastricht University

Maastricht, Netherlands

About

We are interested in determining the role of behavioural factors in shaping health behaviours and influencing health. We are also interested in the dynamic interplay between  behaviour and health: behavioural factors can influence health, and health can in turn also influence behaviour.

  1. Longitudinal data collection will allow to study the association between behavioural factors and health and how these evolve over time. These behavioural factors are also likely to interact with background characteristics, including demographics, socio-economic status, cultural background, etc.

  2. Experiments and RCTs will allow to study how health behaviour can be influenced using behavioural change techniques.

We bring expertise in setting up data collections and developing and running experiments and RCTs.
