FoodEducators as dissemination and implementation partner for healthy diets

Programme Lead of FoodEducators programme at FoodEducators

Budapest, Hungary

About

FoodEducators is a pan-European education and behaviour-change platform supporting healthier, more sustainable dietary habits among children, families and educators across Europe. We work with 3,200+ teachers, 170 schools and 85,000+ students in 15+ EU countries, delivering multilingual lesson plans, certified teacher trainings, school activity weeks and family-based cooking programmes that connect nutrition, health, sustainability and everyday food choices. Our work focuses on prevention-oriented health outcomes, including healthier diets, food skills, reduced reliance on ultra-processed foods and long-term behaviour change starting early in life.

For Horizon Europe Cluster 1 (Health) projects, we act as a dissemination, implementation and uptake partner, ensuring that research results translate into real-world impact in schools, households and communities. We are particularly interested in collaborations related to nutrition and non-communicable disease prevention, childhood and adolescent health, lifestyle and behavioural interventions, health equity, and community-based health promotion, where strong access to end users, scalable education pathways and measurable behaviour change are critical for impact and exploitation.
