Researcher at Vilnius University
Vilnius, Lithuania
About
We are a multidisciplinary team from Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine, combining expertise in neuroscience, mental health, neuromodulation, brain imaging, and digital health solutions. Our group works closely with clinical centers and patient organizations to design, implement, and validate innovative healthcare interventions.
Our key areas of expertise include:
-
Personalized neuromodulation interventions
-
EEG and neurotechnology applications for brain-based personalization
-
Clinical research in mental health
-
Development and validation of digital mental health tools
-
Patient-centered design with a strong focus on equity, ethics, and inclusion
Our team has experience coordinating and participating in international research projects, including EU-funded neuroscience, digital health, and mental health care innovation initiatives.
We are preparing a Horizon Europe proposal targeting non-invasive, personalized support for perinatal depression, combining neurostimulation techniques with digital psychosocial interventions. We are seeking partners to strengthen the interdisciplinary and clinical aspects of the project. We are looking for partners with expertise in:
-Social sciences and humanities (SSH) – including user needs, ethics, and gender.
-Digital or AI-based mental health tools – apps, guided self-help, companion systems, chatbots.
-Depression-focused research teams, especially in prenatal or women’s mental health.
-EEG and neurotechnology specialists with signal analysis expertise.
-Clinical sites working with pregnant or postpartum women, open to joining a multicenter trial.
We are currently in the proposal writing stage and actively assembling our consortium.
