HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-CARE-03 – Identifying and addressing low-value care in health and care systems

Within this project cooperation, CSC can contribute access to diverse healthcare settings and organisational practices to support the identification of low-value care and unwarranted variation across care pathways. Its networked model facilitates engagement with healthcare professionals, managers, and decision-makers, enabling the co-development and testing of strategies to reduce low-value care while maintaining patient-centred and high-quality practices.

CSC also offers strong capacity for dissemination, learning, and scaling through its established communities of practice and experience in innovation adoption across multiple organisations. By bridging evidence generation, organisational learning, and system-level implementation, CSC provides a robust platform to support the transferability, scalability, and long-term sustainability of strategies addressing low-value care in European health systems.
