About
This project strengthens public trust and engagement in life sciences by developing co-created, transparent, and usable digital tools. These tools support early detection of changes in health conditions in both community and clinical settings, improve prioritisation and efficiency in public health services, and enable policy-aligned implementation.
Life sciences are approached as a socio-technical ecosystem, where science, technology, healthcare, policymakers, citizens, and educators interact. The project emphasizes co-creation, usability, explainability, and acceptance, ensuring innovations are trusted, adopted, and impactful in real-world settings.
Objectives

Co-create digital tools with citizens, healthcare professionals, and educational stakeholders
-
Support early detection and prioritisation in diverse health conditions
-
Enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness of public health services
-
Strengthen links with public institutions, policymakers, and educational environments
-
Generate evidence on usability, acceptance, and trust in AI-supported tools
Methodology
-
Living Labs and multi-stakeholder co-creation, including educators and students
-
Development of AI-supported, user-centred digital tools
-
Usability, acceptance, and trust studies in community, clinical, and educational settings
-
Pilot implementations with health institutions and educational settings across all levels
-
Translation of results into policy and educational guidance
